Something Doesn't Smell Right

The day after the New Hampshire primaries the Culinary Workers Union and the Service Employees Union endorsed Barack Obama. Now, just a week before the primary, another union -- a teachers union is filing a suit designed to disallow caucuses held in 9 Las Vegas casinos.
They want to exclude these special caucus sites, suggested by the national party, because they supposedly disenfranchise teachers who must work their own school caucus sites and thus can't vote. What is interesting is the timing of this suit. It came after the endorsement of Obama. Clinton has criticized caucuses since loosing in Iowa. Although the union in question hasn't endorsed her, another has and a number of the leaders of this one back her. Hillary also is well connected to casino and hotel executives.
Now the question is, would this suit have been forthcoming if Hillary had gotten the endorsement? And, since this was all put together months ago, why didn't she complain then. Then there's the question of disenfranchising voters -- if they exclude these polling places -- who is being excluded and by whom? Something doesn't smell right.

Yes, and on Meet the Press, she pretended she had nothing to do with the lawsuit.

BTW, I continue to press Edwards to drop out--he's now polling 3rd in SC--but a new report shows a 3 way tie in Nevada! Much will depend on tomorrow night's debate.
