Back to the Polls

Was it just a week ago that I cast my ballot in the California Primary? It seems like such a long time ago -- except perhaps in New Mexico that has yet to figure out that last 2% of the votes. But for the citizens of Maryland, DC, and Virginia, it is time to vote. What happens there could have tremendous impact on what follows.

On the GOP side, McCain wins should solidify his claim to the nomination.

On the Democratic side, an Obama sweep should give him claim to that momentum that can carry him to victory. It will also show what he's able to do in primaries -- something Hillary has had an edge in to this point. A Clinton win in Virginia or Maryland, however, could be a boost to her campaign. Much is at stake today. We'll be waiting this evening with baited breath for the news.

And as they say: "Yes We Can!"
