Maria Shriver Endorses Obama

The endorsements in California keep rolling in. Now Maria Shriver, the First Lady of California, wife of Arnie, daughter of the 1972 VP candidate and founding director of the Peace Corps, and a member of the Kennedy family, endorsed Barack today while appearing with Oprah.

Obama, Shriver said, "is about the power of us, and what we can do when we come together. Because as everybody up here has said, there is much more that unites us than divides us."

"He is about empowering women, African-Americans, Latinos, older people, young people. He's about empowering all of us."

Maria's endorsement should make for interesting bedtime conversation with Arnie, since he's backing McCain.
