Mississippi Win!

Barack Obama has won another primary -- this time in Mississippi. Yes, he won with 90% of Black voters, who make up a sizable part of the Democratic Party. He also got about 25% of the White votes. That's significant. When Jesse Jackson won here he only got 45% of the vote, Obama has gotten 59% at this point. I do think that's significant.
Now we go on to Pennsylvania with do overs in Michigan and Florida in the offing. I've noted in a Faithfully Liberal post that a good, fair, and cost effective solution for both states would be to split the delegates 50/50. But so far Howard Dean has given his comment to my post. (By the way, I'm going to re-post that here shortly).
I do think that both campaigns and their surrogates need to be careful about what they say. It is not appropriate to say that Obama is winning only because he's black. In fact, I find that bizarre. It's just as inappropriate to call Hillary a monster (and Obama's advisor who made that comment quit as is appropriate). The road to Pennsylvania is fraught with danger for both campaigns. There is a lot of time to make blunders. I expect that both candidates will be camping out in the state. Right now Hillary has a big lead, but Obama is just beginning to pay attention to it.
