Defiant - A Conversation with Kelley Nikondeha at Academy of Parish Clergy Book of the Year Awards

Are you a book reader? Do you want to read a really powerful book on the women of the Book of Exodus? Well, the Academy of Parish Clergy Book of the Year Committee has a book for you. That book is titled Defiant: What the Women of Exodus Teach Us About Freedom, authored by Kelley Nikondeha and published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company. Last night (April 22, 2021) a group of us had the privilege of hearing from and sharing with Kelley as she told the story of how she came to write Defiant and her new understanding of the Book of Exodus.

Besides the Book of the Year, we also shared news of ten more books, our Top Ten List of books for clergy. So, there are eleven books in all to be read and enjoyed. There are some really powerful books that speak to the issues of our day.

On May 6th we'll honor our Reference Book of the Year, which you can also find listed on our web page.
