Perhaps as a communitynwe have failed to do justice, but as a community we have certainly failed in our faithfulness.<br /><br />And how do we apply this today, in our country, where progressives in their very search for social justice loudly proclaim that we are NOT a Christian nation, and that as a nation we should NOT seek to impose an agenda on the nation which is professedly Christian. In so doing are we progressives not risking repeating the mistake of the Nation of Israel, calling the same judgment on ourselves?<br /><br />I am not questioning a progressive agenda, but seeking instead for a way to live as a community which is faithful and loyal to YHWH while still mindful of the fact that we live in a nation of people who are not called to the same loyalty.<br /><br />I wonder if when Isaiah speaks of God's holy mountain being a place of worship for all nations, will we all worship with a shared understanding of the God we worship?Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06245470576919732592noreply@blogger.com
