My Day as a Substitute

Yesterday I spent the day trying to teach 28 third graders -- I was subbing for my wife as she ran off to a conference on teaching writing. I must say that pastoring a congregation of mostly older persons is much easier -- at least in terms of keeping everyone's attention. At the end of the day I tried to have them work with five science experiments. It went crazy and I had to cut it short after the decibel level got ear shattering.

I think I'll stick with my day job.

Then I got home and I couldn't sign on to the internet -- so no posting yesterday. But I've survived to blog another day!
