Church History in 4 Minutes

I'm a church historian, and I'm not sure I could boil down 2 millennia of church history into 4 minutes, but here is a musical video that tries just that. It is a reworking of a Billy Joel Song: "We Didn't Start the Fire."

Take a look and listen. As you listen, I wonder if you will discern a certain trajectory and bias? It seems to lead toward Protestantism and then the US. What do you think?

Thanks to James McGrath for the posting.

Okay, my favorite bit was the use of "Where's Waldo" during the search for the pope. Classic.
Definitely a Protestant/U.S. bias. Didn't see anythng on Africa or Asia past Augustine and nothing on South America. But I still liked this.

I made this video as a gift for our senior pastor after he finished a 21 week sermon series on church history...By and large, it reflects the topics he covered in his sermons (for instance, for the 20th century, he focused on the intellectual and spiritual ramifications of the teachings of Darwin, Marx and Freud) -- as well as the need to find rhymes.... Glad to see other people are enjoying it, too!

Thanks for the repost!--
