Standing with the Polish People

This past couple of weeks has seen its share of disasters (an earthquake in Mexico and a mine explosion in West Virginia), political unrest (a coup in Kyrgyzstan that involved the deaths of a number of protesters), and now this morning news of the death of the Polish president Polish President Lech Kaczynski along with his wife and a large number of the nation's leaders.  They were heading toward an observance in Western Russia, when their plane crashed trying to land in fog.  They were heading there to observe the 70th anniversary of a massacre of Polish military officers by Stalin's secret police.

May we keep all who suffered loss in our prayers.

I have so much admiration for the Polish people, historically they have been through so much, but they stand together and come through it.
I am so proud to be part of this heritage. Please continue to pray as they seek to basically rebuild their government (yet again).
