![]() | You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

My Theological Worldview -- What's Yours
I took this quiz at Quizfarm.com. Interesting results, though I wonder about this. As a mainline pastor I don't feel alienated from older forms of church. But still, it's interesting. Now, what's yours?

Not surprisingly, it also scored me as Emergent/Postmodern. Not sure how well I liked that; it did have to do a tie-breaker for me to make sure I wasn't Roman Catholic.
Dennis,
You know I found this quiz at News Muse, the Disciples World blog, and the person posting, probably Rebecca, scored Emergent as well. Maybe that says something about we Disciples. We're just an emergent kind of people!
Some of the questions just made me pick in the middle because they were misleading. Anyway it wasn't surprising. Here are my scores...
Emergent/Postmodern - 86%
Classical Liberal - 82%
Modern Liberal - 79%
Neo orthodox - 29%
Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan - 21%
Charismatic/Pentecostal - 21%
Reformed Evangelical - 18%
Roman Catholic - 14%
Fundamentalist - 0%
Just goes to show you how nebulous emergent/postmodern is. I too found it difficult to answer without picking the middle -- which this may suggest!!!
Interesting; I too scored Emergent/Postmodern. Now if I just had a clue as to what that means....
