What would we do without that? Death of Remote Control Inventor

I just had to include this obit this morning. I mean what would we do without the remote control? I mean I've got a multitude of them. Anyway, the LA Times runs the obit of Dr. Robert Adler, co-inventor of the remote -- back in 1956 -- at age 93.
He actually was involved in the invention and perfection of a lot of other things, but this was his claim to fame, only he didn't take all that much pride in it. You see he really preferred reading to watching TV. Interesting!
