Christmas has been Saved

I know that many of you were worried that the Grinch would steal Christmas -- according to one web site I am one of those Grinches (and darned proud of it too) -- but fortunately Congress has overwhelmingly approved Steve King's "much needed" HR 847. According to the roll call -- 327 voted yes, 9 no, 10 voted present and 40 didn't vote (some of them might not have been present to vote).

It was one of those resolutions that as stupid as it is, you almost have to vote yes or look anti-Christian. Besides, who wants to get on the wrong side of Bill O'Reilly?

The point is, that with all the important stuff Congress needs to be doing voting on Christmas seems pretty silly. And if that makes me a Grinch or even the spawn of Satan, then so be it!
