Back from the Brink -- Iran's Nuclear Program

In 2003 the US attacked Iraq in large part because its WMD posed a signficant threat to the US and its allies. As we now know, the Iraqi threat was not only overblown, but those weapons have yet to be found. So here we are, stuck in a war, trying to find a rationale.
Recently the Bush administration has talked tough about the imminent threat posed by Iran's nuclear efforts. We've heard from both GW and Dick warnings about being on the edge of WWIII -- and that we would take steps necessary to prevent Iran from getting it's hands on such weapons.
Well now we've received the latest National Intelligence Estimate, which suggests that the Iranian weapons program stopped in 2003 and that it's quite likely that they've not resumed their efforts.
Of course this hasn't stopped the President from talking tough and shooting warnings off from the hip. And then there's the Israeli's who are upset with the report. Likely because it pushes the US back from the brink. The Israeli's can't attack Iran without our okay and support -- so this puts a crimp into their efforts.
If we didn't learn the lesson of Iraq then it's likely that it will be the US and not another nation that launches WWWIII. If there is any shred of usefulness in the Just War theory, then launching an unprovoked attack on another country (something we've already done in Iraq) will tear at whatever is left of it.
Let us say to GW, Dick, and their supporters -- No War with Iran. Stop posing and start talking!
