Labor Day - a Visual Reflection

The City of Detroit is known as the Motor City. I don't think I need to explain why. Cars are made here in Michigan. Back in the 1930s, famed artist Diego Rivera created a set of murals for the Detroit Institute of Art (one of America's great public art museums) that depict this reality. So, because this is Labor Day, I thought I might simply share pictures of the North and South walls of the Hall in which these murals can be found. If you are ever in Detroit, this is a must-see exhibit. I will let the murals speak for themselves (but if you click on the links you can find more information about the murals and the museum).
