Haiti Relief Opportunity

The news is devastating.  Thousands dead, the Presidential Palace and national Cathedral destroyed.  Haiti is among the poorest of poor nations to begin with, and now a 7.0 earthquake hits.  My thoughts and prayers are with the people of this nation.

I am posting a link to the Week of Compassion donation site.  Week of Compassion has low overhead and the money will get there quickly.  It is a Disciples arm that works with Church World Service. You may provide gifts beginning at $25.  If you're a member of Central Woodward Christian Church you can make your gift now, just note on the site our name.  If you're not a church member and wish to give, give through Week of Compassion anyway.
