Attacking Religious Buildings -- the Case of Sarah Palin's church

Friday night someone torched the Wasilla church of which Sarah Palin is a worshiper and possibly a member. Now, I'm no fan of Governor Palin's politics, and I probably don't share many of her church's particular beliefs, but I stand with the members of Wasilla Bible Church in their hour of need. I don't know who or why someone torched this church, but it must be condemned as a cowardly and evil act. It is one thing to challenge the beliefs of another, but to attack a person physically or a to vandalize building is never appropriate. To deface or destroy a building is not a protest, it is simply vandalism and not worthy of any protest.

My prayers are with the church members as they rebuild their community.
