Contemplating Sabbatical

It's reached that point where I can almost begin counting the days until my sabbatical begins.  There is much to be done in the next two plus weeks of ministry, but my mind is having difficulty concentrating on the tasks at hand.  If you've ever been in school you know the feeling.

Interestingly I'm find that my sabbaticalitis is also influencing my blogging.  I wake up and wonder -- what do I have to say today?  What worthy words should I share?  I know I'll get back on track, but you know how it is when your heart and mind are elsewhere.

So, in the mean time -- enjoy this sunrise picture from our recent stay up at Crystal Lake -- up north here in Michigan!!

May it speak volumes of God's future!
