My Theological Re-Test

Seeing that Richard at Connexions had re-taken his theological world view test, I thought I'd do the same.

What's your theological worldview?
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern

You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

As you can see, this time around I'm even more Emergent/Postmodern than the last time -- indeed the same is true about this Wesleyan business. The question is -- would all those emergents accept me as one of them? And besides, I'm not alienated from old forms -- unless by old forms you mean Fundamentalism.

Below is the results from the last time I did this:

Emergent/Postmodern 68%
Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 64%
Neo orthodox 61%
Classical Liberal 57%
Roman Catholic 57%
Modern Liberal 57%
Charismatic/Pentecostal 36%
Reformed Evangelical 36%
Fundamentalist 4%

And 82% Neo Orthodox

but only 25% Evangelical (?)

and more Charismatic than Evangelical (50%)

I hated so many of those questions. I don't think I could completely agree with more than 2 or 3. I came out tied between modern liberal and emergent/postmodern. I guess that means it worked despite the fact that I didn't like the questions.

I keep scoring as Wesleyan--but, as I said the last time I took this--when I was evenly divided between Wesleyan and Barthian--the quiz is skewed. It has no category for Anabaptists.
