Experience or Change Agent -- Democrats Must Choose

The race to Iowa is coming to a final heat, and the race remains tight (though Obama seems to have the edge). Ultimately it seems to be a question of who is best positioned to bring change to America.
Hillary Clinton likes to cite her experience, but in reality she doesn't have all that much more experience than Obama. I simply can't count the White House time -- if that is sufficient experience to be President then every First Lady has the requisite experience. In fact, Edith Wilson may have been best positioned since it appears that she ran things during her husband's illness while in the White House. And it would seem that Eleanor Roosevelt was a pretty formidable player herself!
But if you want experience, why choose Hillary. Joe Biden is a much better choice on that level -- he's been in the Senate for 35 years. I personally like Joe and wished he would have run in 2004 (I think he was a much better choice than John Kerry). But the fact that Joe or Chris Dodd have gotten no traction suggests, as the piece at the Washington Post suggests -- Democrats are looking for the person best able to bring change. On that score, Obama seems to have a slight edge. My hope is that Obama wins and asks Joe to take a position in his cabinet!

I predict that it will be very close, but that Hillary will come in third. Obama and Edwards will be so close that they might not even be a % point apart.

However, even if Edwards wins Iowa outright, I can't seen him winning NH unless all the independents vote for him. There doesn't seem to be time for him to use an Iowa bounce between tonight and Tues. I think Obama will clearly win NH and Edwards and Clinton will battle for #2 there.
