Star Trek Reboots!
Saw Star Trek Sunday afternoon. I'm a Trekkie/Trekker, love the good and the bad. I'm not a purist and I've never worn the outfits, but I'm a true believer.
So, what did I think of this rebooting of an old favorite?
I liked it a lot. I thought it gave some definition to the characters, especially Kirk and Spock. It gave a foundation for how the crew came together. It's fun. You don't have to be in the know to enjoy it, but if you're in the know you'll get some depth.
As one who enjoys Lost it is interesting to see J.J. Abraham's take on Star Trek.
I don't want to give away the plot, so I won't say anything more -- except, that my wife thinks Spock is too emotional in this version. I'd be interested in hearing if others agree with her!
