There remains a strong anti-gay sentiment running through much of Africa. It often places African Christians at odds with their American and European brothers and sisters -- consider the conflicts within the Anglican Communion for example. While it is in no way leading the way, there is, as Adriaan Van Klinken demonstrates, a small but growing movement within the Kenyan Christian community that is pushing for inclusion. The essay is an important one as it will expand our own horizons. I encourage you all to take a read and lift up these Kenyan Brothers and Sisters who are organizing for change.
