News Press Trial starts

Wendy McCaw's date with destiny has begun -- the NLRB is taking up its case against the SB News Press for illegally firing its reporters, among other things. We're still waiting for final certification of the union, which has been ongoing for months. The wealthy Wendy is doing her best to delay what would seem like the inevitable.

The result of this delaying tactic is that a once award winning newspaper is in shambles and the city of Santa Barbara is without a truly representative local daily paper.
