Zaca Fire from Space

This is a NASA satellite photo of the 63,000 acre Zaca Fire, which began on July 4th. That little plume of smoke is a lot bigger than it seems. Where a couple of weeks ago we were talking imminent containment, now they're talking about what might happen if the fire crossed the mountain and headed toward Santa Barbara. It's not likely but it makes you think.
