I was for talking but . . . -- John McCain

John McCain took up GW's attack on Barack Obama -- about talking with Iran and thereby with terrorists. What I hadn't realized or remembered is that just 2 years ago John McCain was talking about talking with Hamas. John, if you're going to attack Obama, at least keep in touch with your own views.

He also supported talks with Syria in '04 (responding to Rightwing attacks on Colin Powell for going to Syria) even though he admitted they were a state-sponsor of terrorism. We need to make his hypocrisy and flip-flopping a major theme!
