Oregon for Obama

Being that I grew up in Oregon, went to college there, and even did a brief stint of graduate work at the University of Oregon, I have a certain amount of interest in the Oregon primary. I was amazed to hear that 75,000 Portlanders went out to Waterfront Park to hear Obama yesterday. Apparently, from what I'm hearing, that is a record amount for any presidential candidate.
I don't know what kentucky will do tomorrow, but I think we can guess that Oregon is going for Obama! I think we can say that this will be true in the fall as well.

I made calls for Obama in KY this weekend. Clinton will win, but we are hoping to keep the loss under 10 points in order to keep KY in play for the Fall.

About OR: It's a swing state (BOTH Gore and Kerry narrowly carried it) because it's liberals are very liberal and its conservatives are very conservative. Thus, it legalized medical marijuana and doctor-assisted suicide, but also amended it's state constitution to ban gay marriages! So, is it a sure thing for Obama in the Fall?

I mean, McCain couldn't get 75,000 people to gather for his own funeral, but still . . .
