What did he just say?

In a week when George Bush essentially called Barack Obama an appeaser of tyrants while speaking before the Israeli parliament -- akin to appeasing Hitler -- and John McCain suggested that Hamas would be a big Obama supporter, Mike Huckabee seemed to joke about an attempted assassination of Barack Obama at the NRA convention. The joke, which fell flat was meant to suggest that he was gun shy, but considering everything this was in extremely bad taste. You know, if you want to get the Democrats united, the GOP is offering significant help this week!
Mike, what were you thinking?

1 day before Oregon & Kentucky (103 pledged delegates at stake) and Obama is 113 delegates away from the 2025 total. Studies show that even MI and FL can't save Clinton. The campaigns are making behind the scenes moves to reconcile and combine efforts for the Fall (whether or not she is offered the VP spot) & Obama is instructing his followers to be nice to Clinton supporters.

I made calls for Obama throughout KY this weekend. We are trying to keep Clinton's win here to 10 pts or less so that KY is still in play for the Fall.

Number of McCain lobbyists forced to resign his campaign so far: 5--most for ties to dictators! 3 former Securities and Exchange heads, including one who worked for W, have now endorsed Obama for his economic reforms and 10 economists conclude that the McCain tax plan would leave the U.S. government with the biggest deficit since WW2!

Analysis shows that the GOP will lose seats in both Houses of Congress even if McCain wins--his domestic agenda is dead in the water. He could try to force his Neo-con foreign policy, but I predict he would be impeached. His election would step up peace activism. Actually, that will step up anyway.

His opposition to the GI Bill should be broadcast in DNC ads to communities near every military base in the nation.

We can beat this guy.
